All-Star 4 Peril: Bloody Mary

Bloody Mary had heard the whisper of a rumour that something was down in the old Catacombs under the city, stories of a monster of some kind. Though it wasn't impossible, reports of such a thing had been so rare and so inconsistent that it was highly unlikely. Bloody Mary soon discovered otherwise.

She had entered the catacombs not in search for this supposed creature, but rather was chasing a villain who sought to lose Bloody Mary in the darkness. Bloody Mary might have let him go if he had been some thief, but this man had murdered many, and she would not let him escape. The murderers ploy to escape had worked for only a moment when Bloody Mary began to fall behind in the maze of tunnels and corridors under the city, but an echoed scream soon alerted Bloody Mary to the location of the culprit.

What remained of him was a lifeless corpse, his skull crushed into a pulp. Before Mary could investigate, something seized her, lifting her off her feet. She came face to face with the myth of a creature that lived in the Catacombs, captured within its tentacles before being brought into a deadly crushing embrace, enough to force her to drop her blades. Bloody Mary knew she was in for the fight of her life as her Elder Power Core brightened to give her the strength to fight this foe.

And so the series continues, this time with Bloody Mary taking on the rather mysterious creation of Dr. Kane's, Prototype! Though technically covering two forms of 4 peril, this one falls under the huggles category. Bloody Mary belongs to Velthice and is also a character in the Deviant Universe. She has a very curious device known as the Elder Power Core which can both enhance her strength, speed to make her more than a capable fighter. She has a natural fortitude to boot and a good healing factor that makes her much tougher than your human.

If you've been following Catacombs of Kane, you should know Prototype. Quite a capable monster with some alarming mutations and a very alarming ability which has been displayed throughout the story to gain fortitude against attacks that have previously defeated it. Bloody Mary will certainly have her hands full trying to survive a fight with the creature, but I'm certain she is capable of defeating it!
